Plot |
When Rachel's (Lindsay Lohan) rebellious ways gets her in trouble back home in San Francisco, she is sent to live with her grandmother, Georgia (Jane Fonda) in Idaho. After being dropped off by her mother (Felicity Huffman), who has her own life to get back to, Rachel reluctantly settles in to life with her strict grandmother. Under distinct rules, Rachel's life begins to change dramatically. Surrounded by people she sees as being boring in a small, Mormon town, Rachel struggles to fit in. Amazingly, the structure implemented by her grandmother starts to have an effect and Rachel's hardened heart begins to soften. It is then that she opens up and reveals a secret she has been holding in, bringing herself, her mother and her grandmother closer than ever. |
